Upcoming Class Dates: TBD & by request This is a hands-on combination course that provides certification through ASHI in basic techniques of: - Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation - Automated External Defibrillator use - Basic First Aid techniques and considerations This first aid, AED, and CPR certification course option is targeted towards both the community and workplace settings (Emergency response teams in business and industry, Adult residential care personnel, Teachers, Parents, Babysitters), and conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, and the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid. Students will be evaluated through hands-on practical application exercises, covering care for Adults, Children, and Infants. Students must perform required skills competently without assistance in order to qualify for certification. Certification through ASHI is valid for 2 years.
